As a participant on AppStoreResearch, researchers invite you to join interviews for their projects. However, we understand you may have busy periods or holidays when you’re not available. In those cases, you can update your availability status.

Why set your availability?

If you’re unavailable for a certain period (e.g., vacation, busy work schedule), setting your status to Unavailable ensures you won’t receive interview invites during that time. This helps researchers find only active and available participants.

How to set your availability

1. Go to your Profile.

2. Find the Availability toggle.

3. Switch it off when you’re unavailable.

When your status is set to Unavailable:

• You’ll be hidden from researcher search results.

• You won’t receive new interview invitations.

You can switch your availability back on anytime.

Important: Ignored invites

If you ignore two interview invites, your account will be automatically frozen and hidden from researcher search. This is a temporary measure to keep the database active.

To unfreeze your account, simply contact support.
