How to pay incentive to a research participant

After a participant completes their scheduled call with you, you can pay their incentive directly through your Project Dashboard. Follow the steps below to ensure smooth and timely payments.


Step 1: Locate the Participant Awaiting Payment


  1. Go to your Project List.

  2. Select the project you conducted the call for.

  3. Find the participant with the status Awaiting Payment.

⚠️ Note: If you see a participant marked as Awaiting Payment but the call hasn’t happened yet, contact support immediately.
This is rare but can occur if a participant accidentally marked the call as completed too early.
Their status can be reverted to Selected by an admin. Reach out promptly to avoid premature payment.


Step 2: Confirm & Pay


  1. Click Confirm & Pay next to the participant’s name.

  2. You will be redirected to the Stripe payment page to complete the transaction.

💡 Tip: If you don’t click Confirm & Pay manually, the system will automatically process the payment 48 hours after the call.


Step 3: Access the Payment Receipt

After the payment is completed:

  1. Go to your Transactions page.

  2. Locate the payment to view or download the receipt for your records.

Following these steps ensures participants are paid promptly and keeps your project records accurate.
